The town of Castellnovo lies 347 metres above sea level. Along the road to Aín you will come to the spring of la Mina, set in a large area of land covered in pines and with facilities for recreation and picnics.

What is there to see?
-The town centre: the streets of Casellnovo are narrow, with an Arabic flavour. Some buildings from this period have survived intact as is he case of the Moorish cistern. The city wall lies to the east of this area with battlements in some places.

-The castle: the medieval mountain castle from which the town derives its name (new castle).

-The calvary.

-Hermitages of San Antonio an San Cristóbal.

-Parish Church of los Santos Reyes (1662); constructed with masonry and stonework.

-The tower of Mal Paso (Metal Age).
