The
palace serves as the town hall. The parish
temple was built in the 17th century and
is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist.
Other religious buildings are Mare de Déu
de l’Assumpció church and the
emblematic Les Santes chapel, located on
the outskirts of the town in a beautiful
valley known as Les Santes mountain range.
The ruins of the Miravet and Albalat castles
are especially interesting for their history
and emblematic character.
Very near the Prat de Cabanes Natural Park
is La Sal tower, former defence tower from
the times when the shore suffered continuous
attacks by Berber pirates.
